Overseas business

Since the opening of International Business Development Division in the early 2000s, KDEC got award the first project in Algeria, "Master Plan for Bouinan New City Development (2006)”, and expanded its business area from Western to Eastern Africa countries. In 2010, KDEC became a winning bidder for the international competition bidding of "Consultancy Services for Detailed Engineering Design and Preparation of Tender Documents for Upgrading of Loliondo-Mto wa Mbu Road (213 km)" and has been carrying out kinds of engineering services in diverse infrastructure disciplines in this region including Ethiopia, Uganda, Senegal, Mauritius and so on.

Starting to provide Consultancy Services for "Detailed Design of Bine Junction Bridge at Baku (2009)" and "Consultancy Services Detailed Design of Merdakan Junction Bridge at Baku (2010)" at Azerbaijan, KDEC successfully got awards projects in Asian countries, “Master Plan and Feasibility Study for Karian Dam~Serpong Water Supply System (2011)”, “Master Plan, Feasibility Study and Basic Design for Drainage in Palembang City (2014)” in Indonesia, “Master Plans for Yangon-Hanthawaddy-Bago Corridor and Yangon South-Western Regional Development (2015)” in Myanmar and “Construction Supervision of SASEC Roads Improvement Project (2017)” in Nepal. While successfully completing those designing and construction supervision projects in different environmental surroundings in various engineering areas, roads, highways, bridges, water supply and sewerage, water resources, urban planning and railways, KDEC is currently enjoying good reputations as a global leader.

KDEC is going to further expand its global network in the fields equipped with its accumulated professional experiences, advanced knowledges and Clients’ satisfaction. Via long-term partnerships with local partners, new markets will be pioneered gradually which will lead eventually mutual growth and provide opportunities of skill transfer each other. In the meanwhile, KDEC devotes effort in co-working with global engineering consultants with advantages in regional experiences and resources to lead the new market through strategic partnerships.
